Integrative Research Institute (IRI) for the Life Sciences

The Integrative Research Institute (IRI) for the Life Sciences at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, founded in collaboration with the Charité - Universitätsmedizin and the Max-Delbrück-Center, pursues cutting-edge biomedical research with an interdisciplinary and inter-institutional approach. The IRI for the Life Sciences enables synergies - in regard to both scientific content and methodology - with integrative strategies ranging from the molecular to the systems-biological level and from foundational to clinical research.

The goal of the collaboration is to tap into new research fields within the life sciences at an internationally competitive level.
